Two things to check before advising
GED requires the applicant to be 18 or over with a two-year gap after SSC for IBCC equivalency — without the gap, there is no equivalency. And HND requires twelve years of schooling already completed, so it is not an alternative to A Levels but a step after them. Not every applicant is eligible for all four routes.

If one does not fit, another will
Most colleges offer one qualification and ask the student to fit it. Edvia runs four, because the sixteen-to-eighteen years break differently for different people. Each route has different entry requirements, age requirements, assessment structures and progression outcomes.
Cambridge A Levels
The main academic track.
The full range of CAIE subjects across science, commerce, humanities, technology and arts, chosen on interest and eligibility. Entry: O Levels, Matric or equivalent · minimum five O Level subjects including English and Mathematics · results and an interview, no written entrance exam.
Pearson BTEC HND
Skill-based, career-focused, limited seats.
A UK diploma for students who would rather be assessed on applied work than on a terminal exam. Entry: at least twelve years of schooling already completed · IELTS or the internal English placement assessment · statement of purpose, 200–300 words · portfolio for fashion and creative media.
GED
High school equivalency, via Greenwich Global College.
Four computer-based exams, completed in one to four months. Entry: aged 18 or over, SSC completed, Intermediate not taken. A two-year gap after SSC is required for IBCC equivalency.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma
A Canadian high school qualification.
Assessed 100% on coursework. No terminal exam at all — for the capable student whose performance collapses in an examination hall.
