Where the land meets the sea, learning comes alive. Greenwich University’s Bachelor of Education (Teaching of Geography) students traded lecture halls for the mangrove forests of Sindh — stepping into one of nature’s most vital coastal ecosystems. Wading through tidal creeks and dense mangrove roots, students witnessed firsthand how these forests act as nature’s shield — guarding coastlines from erosion, nurturing marine life, and storing carbon that helps fight climate change. It was not just a field trip. It was a lesson in resilience, taught by the ecosystem itself, spanning coastal geography, environmental science, ecosystem conservation and field-based learning.
