The purpose

A UK degree that can begin, and in most cases finish, from Karachi.

A UK degree usually means leaving — visas, an exchange rate that moves against you, and a family separated for three years. Plenty of capable students simply cannot take that route, and plenty more should not have to take all of it.

This pathway exists so that a UK degree can begin, and in most cases finish, from Karachi — at a fraction of the cost, with the same academic standard and the same award behind it.

Before you apply

Award structures are not identical

The four awards do not all follow the same shape. Three are three-year awards with the first two years in Karachi; BSc (Hons) Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a one-year top-up. Check the structure of the specific award before advising.

Why it costs less — and what does not change

The saving comes from where you live and study, not from what you are taught or how it is assessed. Curriculum, assessment and award are UWE’s, QAA-assured and identical to the degree taken in Bristol. Living costs, travel and the exchange rate are what change. Fees, entry requirements and the transfer point are published each intake.
